EGGPLANT AND STRIPED EGGPLANT

Our eggplants, rich in flavor and nutrients, are grown with a focus on sustainability, ensuring a high-quality product with reduced environmental impact.

Cultivation

Eggplant, a versatile and flavor-rich vegetable, is grown in greenhouses by the agricultural cooperative L’Ape di Giulietta. This cultivation technique allows us to guarantee a high-quality product, protected from weather and pests, ensuring a constant and uniform yield throughout the year. Thanks to the controlled environment of the greenhouses, we can offer fresh, flavorful eggplants for all twelve months of the year.

Seasonality

Our growing cycle allows for fresh eggplant from January to December. This ensures continuous availability for large-scale retailers and wholesalers, who can count on a stable, high-quality supply. In addition, thanks to sustainable farming techniques, we guarantee a product that is not only fresh, but also environmentally friendly.

Varieties

We offer a wide selection of eggplants, including long, oval and round violets, with trade names such as Thelma, Velia, Pamela, and Steak. Each of these varieties has unique characteristics in terms of flavor, texture and culinary use, making our eggplants suitable for a wide range of recipes.

Area of origin

Our eggplants come exclusively from crops located in Italy, where the climate and soil are ideal for growing this vegetable. Our attention to quality and commitment to sustainability allow us to offer a product that represents the best Italian agricultural traditions, appreciated both nationally and internationally.

Benefits and uses

Eggplants are an excellent source of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, contributing to a balanced diet. Their versatility in cooking makes them a perfect ingredient for multiple dishes, from salads to sauces to main dishes, making them an excellent choice to meet the needs of an audience increasingly oriented toward healthy and sustainable food choices.
