Our passion for agriculture translates into a constant search for the best plant varieties. We work closely with our agronomist to test and select only the tastiest and most nutritious varieties. Our dedication to quality drives us to experiment with new growing techniques and use environmentally friendly farming practices, with a view to innovation and continuous improvement.
Products delivered by our Members arrive at our plants in Arcole, in the province of Verona, where they are processed, preserved and packaged according to the highest standards required by EU regulations. Our plants are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that allow us to preserve the freshness and organoleptic characteristics of our vegetables, thus guaranteeing an excellent quality product.
Certifications and social responsibility
The farms we work with are all certified according to the GLOBALG.A.P. and GLOBALG.A.P. GRASP standards. These certifications attest to compliance with good agricultural practices, enabling us to offer our customers products that are not only safe and healthy, but also sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP) program is a key complement to the GLOBALG.A.P. standards and focuses on the well-being of workers on farms. Through four main themes related to social responsibility, GRASP listens to and promotes the voice of workers, provides information on human and labor rights, monitors key indicators related to rights, and protects children and youth employees. In this way, we are committed to ensuring that the rights of those who contribute to the production of our products are respected.
In addition, we are currently working to implement GLOBALG.A.P. SPRING certification in our supply chain. This program focuses on responsible management of water resources in agriculture and is an important step toward more sustainable agriculture. SPRING (Sustainable Program for Irrigation and Groundwater Use) is designed to support producers, supply chain actors, and buyers in demonstrating their commitment to wiser water management.
